What is this Masterclass about?

Television plays an enormous role in anyone's  life today. For better or worse the mass media are having a tremendous impact on our children’s values, beliefs, and behaviors. Children and youngsters are great imitators of imaginary plays and favorite cartoon characters. In today’s generation children spend more time watching television rather than reading or playing.

Some TV programmes are educational. They open our minds by providing information that is unlikely to be taught in schools and other places such as home schools. But many others are violent. It is often seen these days that children imitate stunts, actions shown on TV screens. This creates a sense of violence in kids and adolescents as they are unable to distinguish what is good and bad. Adults who are exposed to violent content on TV are getting ideas for crime. This is definitely an important topic to debate on.
